The Spinnaker Group provided LEED Consulting on this Broward County bus maintenance facility, which achieved LEED Gold certification in December 2016. The 50,849 sf new, state-of-the-art facility project consisted of reconstructing an entire facility in seven phases while the complex remained operational. The completed facility is a high-bay (2-story equivalent) structure used for bus repair and maintenance. The western portion of the building is used for parts storage, utilities and offices. A second-floor administrative office area is located above the parts and ground floor support areas located at the west end of the building. The operations facility has offices, lounges and break areas on the second floor of the north end of the building for drivers and administrative personnel. The first floor is used for fueling, bus washing and tire changing, with the second and third floors used for parking.

Spinnaker Group is providing LEED Consulting, Building Commissioning and Energy Modeling for this 64,769 sf project site. The 2,953 sf building construction project was begun in May 2020, and completion is projected for December 2020. The project is tracking LEED Gold certification. The overall project features three buildings that contain sales offices, public bathrooms and security; 16 ft. height artistic steel sculptures; and ADA ramps for better assistance to access the Transit Center. Green features include net-positive building at 107% (which means the structure actually gives energy back to the grid); the bus fleet is entirely EV (which means that there is no contamination of gasoline fuels and that the air at this facility will be more breathable compared to other mass transit centers; and 100% rainwater management. .
