the 50th anniversary of the first Earth Day? Amazing. And wonderful!
There is no question that Earth Day has hugely helped fashion a
global green community, advancing critical initiatives such as
climate policy, energy efficiency, renewable energy and green jobs.

And there is no question, too, that green building continues to
thrive and contribute in an enormous way toward enabling an
environmentally and socially responsible, healthy and prosperous environment! On this important day, the Spinnaker teaam thanks you for your significant contributions to this transformational journey toward a more sustainable, healthy and prosperous built environment. 

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread and put everyone at higher risk, it's important that we all take stock of our own next steps. As such, at this posting, nearly all events throughout the USA that bring people together are being cancelled through April ... and perhaps beyond. Be smart ... stay safe ... and verify whether any Earth Day events are, indeed, going to be held this year.

Should Earth Day events move forward, if you are interested in participating in local Earth Day events, we recommend tapping your favorite search engine for "Earth Day 2020 (insert city/county)". Google, for one, presents an impressive list of events and related contact information. We suggest, also, that you contact the municipality or USGBC Green Building Chapter most convenient to you to learn what special events might be planned in any particular community. And, of course, check out your local newspapers, websites and social media.
